Subscribers are individual monthly donors who keep Redtwist alive. In addition to supporting Redtwist fiscally, subscribers help Redtwist by seeing shows and spreading word of mouth about what's on stage. Production Sponsors are the solo supporters of productions at Redtwist, providing the initial investment that allows costumes to be purchased, sets to be built, and performers and technicians to be compensated before a show opens and ticket revenue can be counted on. The Perks of Sponsorship
Every Sponsor of Redtwist is featured on our website and highlighted on our Social Media accounts. Sponsors at our Advocate level will be acknowledged in every program and in every curtain speech throughout our season, while sponsors at our Producer and Performer level will be acknowledged in programs and curtain speeches of sponsored productions or events.
In addition to public acknowledgements, Sponsors enjoy VIP access to Redtwist, including complimentary tickets, steeply discounted group rates, access to special events, and a direct connection to our leadership team. What does Sponsorship pay for?
Sponsoring Redtwist supports our neighborhood. Edgewater and Andersonville are among the most vibrant and diverse neighborhoods in Chicago. In addition to having one of the largest LGBTQIA+ populations in the country, our neighborhood has a large immigrant population, and a thriving small business community. Programming at Redtwist is aimed at generating conversations amongst our neighbors. Beyond the entertainment provided on our stage, Redtwist continues the conversation through talkbacks, special events, and classes. Our productions are regularly attended by hundreds of patrons, who live right in the Edgewater Neighborhood.
